In the heart of the Bolognese Hills, in Sasso Marconi, the organic wine farm Nugareto was born.
One hundred hectares of land, twelve of which are cultivated as organic vineyards, and over two thousand olive and fruit trees, provide products processed with respect for nature and the territory, in a process of "environmental restoration" aimed at enhancing an authentic area of the Bolognese Hills.
Its lands, suited for viticulture, are the ideal home for Grechetto Gentile, a local grape variety from which the well-known wine of Bologna, Pignoletto, is produced.
Inspired by times and places when life was more genuine, natural, and true, its organic production is strongly linked to the Bologna area.
In addition to Pignoletto, the well-known D.O.C.G. of the Colli Bolognesi in its Frizzante and Superiore varieties, its production includes the "D.O.C. Colli Bolognesi", Rosso Bologna, Bianco Bologna, and Bologna Spumante, which take you on a journey through time, into the history and food and wine culture of the city of Bologna.
